Abstract

My topic for research will be Human Trafficking. I would like to research how the systems that are in place have failed. Many women and children are being trafficked to other countries or in some cases other areas and being abused. They are forced to take drugs which makes them more willing to perform sexual acts or they are abused and even killed.
 My research question is related to how we as a nation we can help educate the targets of these crimes; which includes anyone and everyone. Human trafficking is not limited to poverty striken people or rich people.  In this paper I will explain what Human Trafficking is. I would also like to discuss some major people involved in Human Trafficking. I would like to discuss myths related to this subject. I believe there are many cases of human trafficking going on right in our own backyards. Americans need to be more aware of their surroundings and what is going on. I would like to find answers to how or why people are being trafficked.
